  NEET Admit Card 2019

  Candidates who have successfully filled the NEET application form and submitted it can download their admit card of NEET 2019 from April 15. The NEET 2019 admit card will be available in online mode only and can be downloaded from the candidate login by entering the application number and password.
  The admit card is an important identity document that has to be carried to the exam hall along with a copy of the photograph (same as the one uploaded in the application form), a valid Photo ID. PwD candidates will have to also carry their PwD certificate additionally.
  
  

  NEET Dress Code 2019

  NTA has specified a particular NEET 2019 dress code for aspirants appearing for the entrance test. Candidates appearing for NEET 2019 exam must follow the prescribed dress code. Students are suggested to cohere with the NEET dress code 2019. With the release of NEET 2019 official brochure, NTA has mentioned the clothes, footwear and other accessories to be worn by applicants on the day of exam. As mentioned, candidates must wear light clothes with slipper/sandals. For male aspirants, full sleeves shirt and clothes with big buttons, pockets and zips are not allowed. While, female students must avoid wearing clothes with embroidery, flowers, brooches and buttons.   NEET Answer Key 2019

  The answer key is the document containing the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. While the dates for the release of the answer key of NEET 2019 has not yet been announced, various leading coaching centres will announce the same after the exam concludes. The official NEET 2019 answer key will be available online and candidates can raise objections within a specified time frame that will be announced by NTA. They will be required to pay Rs 1000 per question in case they wish to raise objections to the official answer key published by NTA.

  
  

  NEET Qualifying Cutoff 2019

  In order to qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), aspirants need to secure the minimum NEET cutoff percentile set by the authority. Since the percentile completely depends upon the performance of candidates appeared in the test, difficulty level of the entrance exam and seats available, thus the marks equivalent to the percentile will be declared along with the result.   NEET Result 2019

  NTA will declare the result of NEET 2019 on June 5. The result can checked by the candidates by entering their login credentials - application number and password. The result will be declared online and candidates will be able to access their score card that will also contain their qualifying status. Candidates who score the qualifying cutoff will be declared as qualified and will be eligible for counselling.
  

  NEET Counselling 2019

  DGHS will conduct NEET counselling 2019 on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) tentatively in the second week of June. NEET 2019 will be online and will be held for the 15% of the total seats of all the government colleges (except for colleges of Jammu and Kashmir state). These seats constitute the All India Quota seats, all the seats of Central and Deemed Universities, seats reserved for Wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) in Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) medical colleges and seats available at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. Counselling of NEET 2019 for the remaining 85% State Quota seats of all government colleges and private colleges will be conducted by the respective state authorities. NEET 2019 counselling will be held in two rounds for All India Quota seats while it will be held in three rounds for the Central & Deemed Universities and ESIC colleges.

  • The qualifying marks must be secured by aspirants to be eligible for NEET 2019. General category candidates must have obtained 50%, for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40% and for PwD candidates belonging to General category, it is 45%.
  • Lastly, Indian nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign nationals can fill NEET application form 2019.

  Question: What is the number of attempts for appearing in NEET 2019?

  Answer: There is no cap for number of attempts. An aspirant can appear as many times as they want to.

  Question: Through NEET UG against which seats admission will be made?

  Answer: The following seats will be made on the basis of NEET scores, which are:

  • All India Quota seats
  • State Quota seats
  • Central and Deemed universities/institutes
  • Central Pool seats
  • State/Management/NRI Quota seats in private medical/dental colleges or private colleges

  Question: I have opted Assamese as the language of exam. Can I get the NEET exam centres 2019 in Delhi?

  Answer: No, candidates opting the vernacular language as the medium of question paper, he/she will be allotted centre only in the respective states of the particular languages.

  Answer: In case, aspirants cannot download the admit card or will not be issued the NEET admit card 2019, must immediately contact the examination authority i.e. NTA.

  Question: What is NEET exam pattern 2019?

  Answer: NEET 2019 paper consists of 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The duration of NEET UG will be of 3 hours.

  Answer: As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, while for an incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted. No marks will be allotted for unanswered question.

  Question: What will be qualifying cut off for NEET 2019? Is it mandatory to secure the cut off?

  Answer: Candidates must secure the minimum qualifying cut off to pass the entrance exam. Aspirants who will not secure the minimum cut off will not be eligible for NEET counselling. For general candidates must secure at least 50 percentile, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40 percentile. For unreserved PH category, the cut off percentile is 45 percentile.

  Question: Who will conduct NEET 2019 counselling for 15% All India Quota seats?

  Answer: The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling of NEET UG for 15% All India Quota seats. Also, MCC will be responsible for admission to deemed as well as central universities.

  Question: How 85% state quota seats will be allotted?

  Answer: Apart from 15% All India Quota seats, the remaining 85% state quota seats will be allotted by respective state counselling authorities on the basis of NEET scores.

  Question: Is NEET mandatory for AYUSH courses?

  Answer: Yes, it is mandatory for candidates to appear and qualify in NEET for undergraduate AYUSH courses. Also, NEET score is necessary for admission to veterinary courses.

  NEET Application Form 2019

  The application form of NEET 2019 was available from November 1, 2018 till December 7, 2019. Payment of application fees could be made till December 8, 2018. Candidates must note that the Aadhaar card is not mandatory to fill the application form. Candidates must keep their scanned photograph, signature ready before they fill the NEET 2019 application form. The steps to fill the NEET application Form are as follows

  Step 1- Registration
  All candidates must register first to fill the NEET application. Candidate smjust fill their name, parents names, Mobile No, Email ID, category, date of birth, nationality, Identification type and number, disabilities. They must create a password and verify the details before submitting. OTP verification is the next step before registration is completed. Candidates will be provided with the provisional NEET application number which will be the user name for login purposes

  Step 2 - Fill the application

  Candidates must fill their personal details, place of birth, medium of exam, choice of exam cities (4 in number), academic details of class 10, 11 and 12. They must also give the details of their parents or guardians and assent to the dress code prescribed for NEET. 

  Step 3 - Review and final submission

  Candidates are advised to review the details entered before final submission.  Many details like Nationality, Category, Medium, Exam Centres cannot be changed so its advisable to review and then submit the details.

  Step 4 - Uploading of documents and images

  A recent photograph in postcard size with a white background must be iuploaded. The name of the candidate and date must be written below the photograph. File Size must be 10 Kb to 100 Kb and format should be JPG.
  Signature: All candidates must place their signature with a black pen on a white paper and scan the same in JPG format in a file of size 3 Kb to 20 Kb 

  These should be uploaded. In case of dicrepancies in photograph and signature, candidates will be notified via SMS and email for correction through candidate login.

  Step 5 - Payment of application fee

  • Payment is online through Debit/ Credit cards/ Net banking OR through SBI EChallan to be downloaded by candidates abd payment made in cash at the nearest SBI branch.
  • The application fee is Rs 1400 for Gen/OBC NCL candidates while it is Rs 750 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender
  • The payment reciept or voucher must be kept safe

  Step 6 - Printing of Confirmation Page

  Candidates who have successfully paid the fees must download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

  Mistakes in the NEET application form 2019 can be done when the window will be opened by NTA. The dates have not been announced for this yet.

  
  

  NEET Eligibility Criteria 2019

  The eligibility criteria has mostly remained the same. Minor changes are that the age criteria will be checked after completion of the exam and the upper age limit has to be calculated as on the date of the exam. The detailed eligibility criteria of NEET 2019 are as follows
